Many people ask me: What is it that makes healing happen? I think the answer is love.
When someone comes to me for help I feel the energy of their pain and suffering as if it were my own and I am immediately engulfed by an overwhelming desire to make this person feel better. It is this that I think opens a channel allowing healing to take place.
No two healings are the same. Some people come and I check and open their chakras using a pendulum and others just receive guidance from their spirit guides or angels or whatever you wish to call it. . . Some come for an hour and others are there for three hours. There is no method and no rules. During a healing I feel flooded with an energy I can only describe as love and I also feel as if I too am being healed. I certainly learn from everyone who comes. I prefer not to know anything about a person before a healing and have healed some whose name I never knew.
Healing others has helped me understand why I have suffered so many things in my own life, without my suffering and my mistakes how would I recognize another’s pain? I have been many things from an alcoholic to a judgmental egotist, from an abused and damaged child to a not very talented fan dancer and from a manipulative bully and journalist to a healer, but I give thanks for my journey and would not change a thing.
People ask why I do not charge for my healings and meditations. The answer is twofold. Giving healing free of charge allows the simplicity of unconditional healing to take place, and I trust the universe to provide for me in other ways so long as I continue to do my work with love and good intention. However donations up to the value of a treatment (£40) are welcome. All proceeds are paid to a registered children charity to improve the welfare and access to education of children in Peru.
