Pilates is a body conditioning exercise that combines mat work and other exercises to help you develop your muscles strength and flexibility. Known as one of the safest form of exercise today, Pilates is designed to help elongate, strengthen and restore your body to balance.

The benefits of Pilates are multiple and range from postural improvement to providing core stability, flexibility, strength, mobility, improved sense of well being and an increased ability to cope with everyday tasks.

Studio Ilkley holds 20 Pilates classes a week in the Happiness Centre Studio-daytimes, evenings and weekends. There are a maximum of only 7 participants in any class, enabling you to achieve an effective workout with individual coaching and attention.

Courses operate over a 6 or 7 week period & are progressive in nature, allowing techniques to be learnt and developed. The pre-exercise screening ensures that we are aware of your individual needs.

Studio Ilkley also offer 1:1 Pilates. 1 to 1 Pilates enables faster progression with more individual coaching. These sessions can be one offs to boost your existing training, to get you started or post injury.
Courses can also be booked should you wish to benefit long term from individual coaching.
